I have always held a deep love for Zephaniah 3:17. In my own words, the heart of this verse is:

In June 2024, I was unexpectedly diagnosed with breast cancer. At that moment, it felt as if my life had been put on pause. On July 23, as a typhoon swept through, I underwent breast-conserving surgery and a sentinel lymph node biopsy. However, due to a post-operative hematoma, I had to undergo an emergency surgery shortly after. The entire experience left me physically and emotionally exhausted.

Lying in the hospital bed, I reflected on Jesus’ selfless suffering for humanity. That meditation gave me strength to endure the pain. I found the courage to voice my heart and transformed that journey into melody, composing this song—a modern Job’s song that tells my story and emotions.
